Terms of Service — Hostursite

Effective Date: August 17, 2025

By signing up for or using any Hostursite services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Account Setup & Verification

• Accounts are activated after payment confirmation and verification.

• You agree to provide accurate contact information and keep it updated.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details.

2. Acceptable Use

• Services must be used for lawful purposes only.

• Prohibited uses include: spam, malware distribution, phishing, copyright infringement, abusive or illegal content.

• Hostursite reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in abuse or policy violations without prior notice.

3. Payments & Renewals

• Services are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless canceled.

• Renewal invoices are issued prior to service expiry; failure to pay may result in suspension or termination.

• Late payments may incur additional charges.

• Domains, SSLs, and other add-ons are non-refundable once registered/issued.

4. Refund Policy

• Shared Hosting & Reseller Hosting: 30-day money-back guarantee if you are unsatisfied for technical reasons beyond your control.

• VPS & Dedicated Servers: Non-refundable, but unused time may be credited at our discretion.

• Setup fees, domain registrations, and promotional credits are non-refundable.

5. Uptime Guarantee & Backups

• Hostursite aims to provide 99.9% uptime. If uptime falls below this level in a given month (excluding scheduled maintenance), you may request service credit.

• Backups may be provided as a courtesy, but you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. Hostursite is not liable for data loss.

6. Domain Services

• Domains purchased or offered free with hosting are subject to registry rules.

• Early cancellation of hosting may forfeit free domain ownership.

• Domain transfers require compliance with registry procedures and may include transfer fees.

7. Suspension & Termination

Hostursite may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Non-payment,

• Violation of these Terms,

• Abuse of services,

• Legal or regulatory compliance requirements.

Upon termination, your services and data may be removed immediately. You may request data retrieval within a limited period, subject to fees.

8. Modifications to Services & Terms

We may adjust pricing, features, or policies at any time. For major changes, we will notify clients at least 15 days in advance.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Hostursite is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, or downtime beyond the scope of our uptime guarantee.

• Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid to Hostursite for services in the last three months.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
